This page summarizes the data Scoutly uses to run the product, protect the service and respond to support requests.
This Privacy Policy explains how Scoutly handles information when you use our website, application, dashboard, monitoring features, alerts, trial or paid subscription.
Depending on how you use Scoutly, we may process the following categories of data:
We use data to provide and secure Scoutly, create and manage accounts, run monitors, deliver alerts, show dashboards, process subscriptions, remember basic preferences, prevent abuse, fix bugs, respond to support requests and meet legal, accounting or security obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Scoutly uses trusted third-party providers to operate the service. These providers process data only as needed for their role in providing infrastructure, authentication, payments, email delivery or alerts.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Scoutly does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
Authentication and database services are provided by Supabase. Scoutly does not store plain-text passwords.
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process data mainly to perform our agreement with you, to pursue legitimate interests such as service security and improvement, to comply with legal obligations, or based on your consent or request, for example when you connect optional alert channels.
We keep data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing Scoutly, maintaining account and billing records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, meeting legal obligations and improving service reliability.
You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting support@scoutly.tools. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, accounting rules, security needs or legitimate dispute-prevention purposes.
Some providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used to protect personal data in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, request data portability or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise privacy rights, contact support@scoutly.tools. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Scoutly and user data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to reduce risks and respond to security issues when identified.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If changes are material, we may notify users in the app, by email or by another reasonable method.
For more information or if you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle data, please contact us at support@scoutly.tools.
